Our Story

Keystone began at home. I first built a roadmap not for a client, but for my wife- a Navy veteran navigating her own benefits journey. Guiding her through that process opened my eyes to how complex, frustrating, and overwhelming the system can be, even for those of us who served.

From there, I began helping other veterans one by one, applying my military experience and graduate-level education in Human Resources and Employment Law to their cases. What started as supporting my own family has grown into a consulting firm committed to clarity, compliance, and results for veterans across the country.

    Decoda leads Keystone’s strategy and quality standards, combining military service, graduate-level HR/legal training, and national HR certification. His education through ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law strengthens Keystone’s foundation in compliance and advocacy, ensuring every case is handled with professionalism and precision under Colorado SB 25-282.

  • Luis Ontiveros

    SENIOR CLAIMS AGENT

    During his service on the Drug Suppression Team, Luis developed a strong foundation in accountability, precision, and respect for process. That experience carries into his work at Keystone, where he specializes in building compliant, well-structured claim roadmaps and guiding veterans through complex VA systems with clarity and care. Luis plays a key role in maintaining Keystone’s quality standards and ensuring each case is handled with professionalism and attention to detail.

    Cody is a U.S. Army Veteran who served as an 88M Motor Transport Operator. That foundation supports his role at Keystone, where he helps translate complex information into clear, structured messaging and internal operations that keep both clients and the team aligned.
